"Huatulco Being" by Jim Spicka

This Friday, March 2nd be sure to head over to the Sueño del Mar Condominiums for the "Huatulco Being" art exhibit by Jim Spicka.

Jim Spicka has created a new genre in art with his paper and acrylic on glass medium. Recently, Jim donated 2 art pieces to the Rotary "Have a Heart" fundraiser, Saturday, Feb 18th, where they sold at silent auction for $6,700 pesos.

At the March 2 exhibit there will be pieces ranging from $75.00 to $1,250.00 USD. 60% of the proceeds will benefit El Sueno Zapateco and the Bacaanda Foundation. The Foundation will also sell their arts and crafts and display information about the Foundation's purpose and efforts to bring dental clinics, hygiene classes, nutritional education, sewing and art classes and needed supplies to the rural schools.
